Engagement f\u00fcr die \u201everlorenen Stimmen\u201c <\/h3>\n

Die Lost Voices Stiftung setzt sich daf\u00fcr ein, \u00fcber die schwere und kaum bekannte neuroimmunologische Erkrankung ME\/CFS aufzukl\u00e4ren, f\u00fcr ihre Anerkennung und die Verbesserung der medizinischen, sozialen und pflegerischen Versorgung zu k\u00e4mpfen und ihre Erforschung zu f\u00f6rdern.<\/p>\n

Die Rede ist von ca. 650.000 Betroffenen in Deutschland. Viele insbesondere schwer Erkrankte sind bettl\u00e4gerig und verschwinden fast vollst\u00e4ndig aus dem gesellschaftlichen Leben. F\u00fcr diese \u201averlorenen Stimmen\u2018 setzt sich die Lost Voices Stiftung ein. <\/p>\n

Unsere Ziele und Aufgaben<\/h2>\n

Zu unseren Zielen z\u00e4hlt die Aufkl\u00e4rung \u00fcber ME\/CFS. Dabei sensibilisieren f\u00fcr die Krankheit,\u00a0informieren sachgerecht \u00fcber die Auswirkungen der Erkrankung und f\u00f6rdern ein wissenschaftsorientiertes Verst\u00e4ndnis, damit ME\/CFS fr\u00fchzeitig erkannt wird.\u00a0Wir vertreten die Interessen von Betroffenen gegen\u00fcber vielf\u00e4ltigen Akteuren und\u00a0k\u00e4mpfen f\u00fcr die Anerkennung von ME\/CFS als eine k\u00f6rperliche Erkrankung.\u00a0Um das Wissen \u00fcber ME\/CFS zu verbessern, unterst\u00fctzen wir\u00a0die biomedizinische Grundlagenforschung.<\/p>\n

Wir setzen uns daf\u00fcr ein, dass \u00c4rzte und medizinisches Personal \u00fcber das Krankheitsbild informiert und entsprechend ausgebildet werden.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Wir geben Betroffenen Hilfestellungen f\u00fcr den Umgang mit der Erkrankung. Informationsangebote f\u00fcr Eltern und Lehrkr\u00e4fte\u00a0sollen helfen die Situation von erkrankten Kindern und Jugendlichen zu verbessern.<\/p>\n

Wie alles begann<\/h2>\n

Gegr\u00fcndet wurde die Lost Voices Stiftung von Betroffenen, Angeh\u00f6rigen, Freunden und Bekannten.\u00a0Die Initiative zur Stiftungsgr\u00fcndung begann im Jahr 2009. Die selbst an ME\/CFS erkrankte Gr\u00fcnderin der Stiftung, Nicole Kr\u00fcger, erlebte in ihrem Engagement f\u00fcr an ME\/CFS erkrankte Menschen in Deutschland tagt\u00e4glich deren mangelhafte medizinische Versorgung und soziale Absicherung.<\/p>\n

Sie gr\u00fcndete die Lost Voices Stiftung mit dem Ziel, das Engagement dort anzusetzen, wo Gesundheitssystem und gesetzliche Regelungen nicht griffen. Nach und nach entstanden Kontakte zu Menschen, die die Situation ebenfalls nicht l\u00e4nger hinnehmen wollten.\u00a0Seit 2012 ist die Stiftung als gemeinn\u00fctzige Stiftung des privaten Rechts anerkannt. Sie hat ihren Sitz in Hannover und\u00a0wird ehrenamtlich gef\u00fchrt.\u00a0<\/p>\n
