Die Lost Voices Stiftung vertritt als eine der Patientenorganisationen in Deutschland die Anliegen von sch\u00e4tzungsweise 650.000 an ME\/CFS erkrankten Menschen in Deutschland gegen\u00fcber Politik, \u00d6ffentlichkeit und anderen Akteuren.<\/p>\n
Wir suchen konstruktive Gespr\u00e4che mit der Landes- und Bundespolitik, um auf die unzureichende Versorgungssituation von Betroffenen hierzulande hinzuweisen und Ver\u00e4nderungsprozesse anzusto\u00dfen. Als Patientenorganisation begleiten wir fachlich die \u00dcberarbeitung von Leitlinien und setzen uns f\u00fcr eine ad\u00e4quate medizinische, soziale und pflegerische Versorgung von ME\/CFS-Betroffenen ein.<\/p>\n

Mangelnde Informationen<\/strong><\/p>\n Die Krankheit ist vielen \u00c4rzten unbekannt. Sie ist in der Regel nicht Bestandteil der universit\u00e4ren Ausbildung. Internationale Forschung flie\u00dft nicht in \u00e4rztliche Fortbildungen ein.\u00a0ME\/CFS ist aufgrund mangelnder Kenntnisse der \u00c4rzte massiv unterdiagnostiziert (sch\u00e4tzungsweise nur 10 Prozent erhalten eine Diagnose), was f\u00fcr Betroffene oft jahrelange \u00c4rzteodysseen zur Folge hat und oft zu Stigmatisierung f\u00fchrt.\u00a0Psychiatrische Fehldiagnosen mit potenziell sch\u00e4digenden Therapien wie Verhaltenstherapie oder k\u00f6rperliche Aktivierung sind weit verbreitet.\u00a0Zu psychiatrischen Fehleinstufungen tr\u00e4gt auch der hierzulande verwendete Begriff \u201eChronisches Ersch\u00f6pfungssyndrom\u201c bei, der falsche Assoziationen mit Burnout oder Depressionen ausl\u00f6st.<\/p>\n Keine ad\u00e4quate medizinische, pflegerische und soziale Versorgung<\/strong><\/p>\n Aufgrund von Unkenntnis oder Fehleinstufung im Gesundheitssystem gibt es so gut wie keine spezifische medizinische kassen\u00e4rztliche Versorgung.\u00a0Es existiert keine ad\u00e4quate medizinische Versorgung in Deutschland gem\u00e4\u00df der WHO-Klassifikation G93.3: Nur eine Ambulanz an der Charit\u00e9 und an der Technischen Universit\u00e4t M\u00fcnchen sowie wenige Privat\u00e4rzte sind verf\u00fcgbar. Versorgungszentren f\u00fcr schwer Erkrankte fehlen ganz.\u00a0Viele ME\/CFS-Erkrankte sind oft mit langj\u00e4hrigen K\u00e4mpfen um Sozialleistungen, Anerkennung der Erwerbsunf\u00e4higkeit oder Bewilligung der Pflegestufen konfrontiert.\u00a0Fehlende Informationen \u00fcber ME\/CFS in Schulen und Bildungseinrichtungen f\u00fchren sogar zu unangemessenen Kinderschutzverfahren gegen die Eltern schulpflichtiger Kinder, die aufgrund der Erkrankung oft oder \u00fcber einen l\u00e4ngeren Zeitraum nicht zur Schule gehen k\u00f6nnen.\u00a0Die Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Allgemeinmedizin und Familienmedizin und andere Fachgesellschaften legen f\u00e4lschlicherweise ein biopsychisches Krankheitsmodell zugrunde und sehen ME\/CFS als Extremform von M\u00fcdigkeit, die durch Dekonditionierung zu erkl\u00e4ren ist. ME\/CFS muss aber endlich als eine immunologische und organische Erkrankung betrachtet werden.<\/p>\n Gro\u00dfe Forschungsl\u00fccken<\/strong><\/p>\n Es gibt kaum biomedizinische Forschung in Deutschland (Ausnahme Charit\u00e9 Universit\u00e4tsmedizin Berlin und Immundefekt-Ambulanz der Technischen Universit\u00e4t M\u00fcnchen und Universit\u00e4t W\u00fcrzburg). Die internationale Einstufung als schwere chronische und organische Erkrankung ist nicht bekannt bzw. wird ignoriert. Die Ergebnisse der internationalen Forschung werden kaum zur Kenntnis genommen.\u00a0Noch immer werden Studien mit ungenauen Kriterien durchgef\u00fchrt (Vermischung mit psychischen Krankheiten), die dennoch ME\/CFS zugeschrieben werden.\u00a0ME\/CFS-Erkrankte und ihre Angeh\u00f6rigen warten verzweifelt auf biomedizinische Forschung. Nur so kann eine hohe Studienqualit\u00e4t erreicht werden. Ein gutes Beispiel f\u00fcr dieses Vorgehen findet sich im Scottish Good Practice Statement on ME\/CFS.<\/p>\n Breite Konsensdebatte unter Ber\u00fccksichtigung von internationalen Studien, z.B. in Form von runden Tischen sowohl auf Landes- als auch Bundesebene seitens des Bundesministeriums f\u00fcr Gesundheit, des Robert-Koch-Instituts und des Instituts f\u00fcr Qualit\u00e4t und Wirtschaftlichkeit im Gesundheitswesen IQWiG.<\/p>\n Klinische Anlaufstellen, z.B. in Form von Ambulanzen nach \u00a7 116B SGB V, und speziell f\u00fcr dieses Krankheitsbild eingerichtete Klinikbetten an jeder gro\u00dfen deutschen Universit\u00e4tsklinik.<\/p>\n Aktive Einbindung der Patientenorganisationen als kompetente Ansprechpartner mit Expertise bezogen auf die Lebensrealit\u00e4t von Betroffenen. Ein Vorgehen, das bereits heute als Empfehlung f\u00fcr Leitlinienfindung gilt, und als \u00fcbliche Praxis bei vergleichbaren Krankheitsbildern wie z.B. Leitlinie „M\u00fcdigkeit“<\/h3>\n
Die Lost Voices Stiftung nahm 2018 als Teil des B\u00fcndnisses ME\/CFS am Befragungsverfahren der DEGAM teil. Leider wurde auch in diesem Prozess deutlich, dass \u00fcberhaupt kein Interesse bestand, die aktuellen internationalen Forschungserkenntnisse zu ber\u00fccksichtigen und damit das Krankheitsbild ME\/CFS ad\u00e4quat einzusch\u00e4tzen.
